Terms of Service
Last updated:
Welcome to Faithful to America. These terms are the agreement between you and us about how you may use faithfultoamerica.com. By visiting the site, reading our articles, or signing up for our newsletter, you are agreeing to what is written here. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use the site.
We wrote this in plain language so you can actually read it. If something is unclear, send us a note through our contact form and we will explain it.
Who we are
Faithful to America is a news and commentary website operated in the United States. When these terms say we, us, or our, that means Faithful to America. When they say you, that means you as a reader or subscriber. Our contact form is the way to reach us.
Who can use this site
You need to be at least 13 years old to use this site, and at least 18 years old to subscribe to our newsletter or send us any personal information. The site is written for adult readers in the United States. If you are using the site from somewhere else, you are responsible for following the laws where you live.
What this site is, and what it is not
Everything on this site is published for general information and commentary. It is not professional advice of any kind. Nothing here is legal advice, financial or investment advice, tax advice, medical advice, or advice about your insurance or benefits. Do not make a decision that affects your money, your health, or your legal rights based on something you read here. Talk to a licensed professional who knows your situation.
Our Opinion section, and any article clearly presented as commentary, contains the views of the writer. Opinion is opinion, not a statement of established fact, and you should read it that way.
Accuracy of our content
We work to publish accurate information and we correct mistakes when we find them or when a reader points one out. Even so, news moves fast, sources are sometimes wrong, and details change after a story goes live. We do not promise that everything on the site is complete, current, or free of errors. Older articles are kept online as a record of what was reported at the time and we are not obligated to go back and update them.
If you spot an error, tell us through our contact form. We would rather hear it from you than leave it up.
How our content is produced
We use a mix of human editorial judgment and automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to research, draft, summarize, and illustrate our content. Images and graphics on this site may be created or edited with artificial intelligence and may be illustrations rather than photographs of a real event. A person decides what we publish, but you should not assume that any given image on this site is a documentary photograph.
Our content belongs to us
The articles, headlines, graphics, logos, page design, and code on this site are our property or are used with permission, and they are protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to read our work, print a copy for yourself, and share a link to it. Quoting a short excerpt with credit and a link back is fine and we appreciate it.
You may not copy an entire article and republish it, rewrite our work and pass it off as your own, use our content to train an artificial intelligence model, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you. If you want to reprint something in full, ask us first through our contact form. We often say yes.
Things you agree not to do
You agree to use the site in a normal, lawful way. That means you will not try to break into any part of the site or its database, will not scrape or bulk download our content with bots or automated tools, will not overload the site or interfere with how it works for other readers, will not upload anything harmful such as malware, will not pretend to be us or someone else, and will not use the site to break any law. You also agree not to use our contact form to send spam, advertising, threats, or abuse. If you do any of these things, we may block your access without notice.
Newsletter and emails
If you enter your email address to subscribe, you are asking us to send you news updates, occasional commentary, and messages that may include advertising or affiliate offers. You can stop those emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message we send. We handle your email address the way we describe in our Privacy Policy.
Messages you send us
If you send us a tip, a correction, a story idea, a photo, or any other material through our contact form, you are giving us permission to use it on the site and in our newsletter without paying you, unless we agree otherwise in writing first. You also confirm that the material is yours to share and that using it will not violate anyone else's rights. Please do not send us anything confidential.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site is supported by advertising and by affiliate links, including in our Deals section. If you click an affiliate link and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That commission does not change what we choose to write about, and it is not a recommendation that a product is right for you. Our full disclosure is on our Disclosure page.
Any deal, price, or offer you see here was accurate when we published it and may have changed since. The seller sets the price, the terms, the shipping, and the return policy, and the seller is the one you deal with. We are not part of that transaction and we cannot help with a refund, a shipping problem, or a warranty claim on someone else's product.
Links to other websites
We link out to news sources, social media, sellers, and other sites. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, their products, or how they treat your information. Once you click away from us, their terms and their privacy policy apply. A link is not an endorsement.
Copyright complaints
We respect other people's work. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send us a notice through our contact form with your contact information, a description of the work you own, the address of the page where it appears on our site, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized. We will review it and remove or disable anything that infringes. More detail is on our DMCA page.
The site is provided as it is
We provide this site on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise that it will always be online, that it will be free of bugs or interruptions, that it will work on every device, or that it will be free of viruses. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether stated or implied, including any implied warranty that the site is fit for a particular purpose or that its content is accurate.
Limits on what we owe you
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that come out of your use of this site. That includes lost profits, lost data, and any loss you suffer from acting on information you read here or from dealing with an advertiser or a seller we linked to. If a court decides we are liable to you for something anyway, our total liability is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Some states do not allow certain limits like these, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You cover us for your own misuse
If your use of this site, or something you send us, causes a claim against us from a third party, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and legal fees in defending it.
Changes to the site and to these terms
We may add, change, or remove parts of the site at any time, and we may stop publishing altogether. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after we post a change means you accept the new version. Please check back now and then.
Ending your access
We may block your access to the site or remove you from our newsletter at any time if you break these terms or if we believe you are misusing the site. You can end this agreement at any time by unsubscribing and not using the site.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its rules about which state's law applies. If there is a legal dispute between us, it will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and we both agree those courts have authority over us.
Before anyone files anything, please write to us through the contact form and give us a fair chance to fix the problem. Most disagreements can be sorted out in a short conversation.
The rest of the legal housekeeping
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclosure, and DMCA pages, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. You may not transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer it if the site is sold.
